Amarembo is a hidden gem! The staff treated us like family, providing exceptional service. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the gardens are incredible. If you're going gorilla trekking, this is the perfect place to stay!

A wonderful rural setting close to Volcanos National Park. The staff is wonderful and attentive to all needs. We visited in rain season and appreciated the electric blankets, hot water bottles for our beds also, and a charcoal fire in our room. It was cozy. The food is excellent. I highly recommend staying here.

The lodge is ideally located close to the park headquarters, ideal for the early starts needed for trekking. Accommodation is great. Heating is provided by a charcoal burner and heated blanket was fabulous. Small seating area in the main area near a wood fire. The restaurant is a set menu with around 4 choices for your main meal. Quality of the food is good. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Wonderful hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Chef makes amazing food. Great selection of food and everything is fresh. Can pay in USD or local currency. Would definitely visit again.
